Great Lakes Conferences Staff Retreat

 Dear Friends,

It was an honor and a pleasure to be with you during the 2008 Great Lakes Regional Staff Retreat at Indiana's Pokagon State Park and Potawatomi Inn. 

From my vantage point, the retreat seemed to go well this year and I heard great feedback from so many of you. 

We have a baseball cap that was left in our meeting room.  If this hat belongs to you, please let me know so that I can send it to you.

You may remember hearing the announcement at the meeting this year that the Conference Ministers voted to have a volunteer committee help to plan the 2009 retreat, to be held in Oakbrook, IL at the Doubletree hotel.  Please let us know if you are interested in doing this.  A great retreat is only great because it is meaningful and worthwhile to those who are required to attend it.  WE NEED YOUR INPUT, YOUR IDEAS, and YOUR EFFORTS to make this possible. 

I took a few pictures at this year's retreat.  I hope to have them posted on this website soon.

Thanks for "letting me be your servant, too" as the song suggests.  I really do enjoy this event and so many of you that I've had a chance to meet.
